Welcome to the Montessori School of Encinitas!
The Montessori School of Encinitas is a family owned and operated business established in 2003. We are located just south of Encinitas Boulevard on El Camino Real. We provide programs for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten age in a safe, stable environment which enables them to develop self- confidence, independence, inner discipline and a love for learning.
Here, each child progresses through an individualized program based upon the Montessori Method, consisting of language development, reading, math skills, science, geography, art, music and movement. Our proven teaching methods and exceptional materials are designed to involve the entirety of the child in the learning progress.

Our Method
Montessori is a philosophy and method of education which emphasizes the potential of the young child and develops this potential by utilizing specially trained teachers and special teaching materials. This is a program through which the child develops at his own pace, moving from one success to another.

Admission
To enroll you child at Montessori School of Encinitas, we encourage both parents and children to visit the center and meet with the administrator and teachers. During this time you will have the opportunity to tour the facility and have your questions answered.
Our Programs
Infant Program
Our school is licensed to care for eighteen infants, with a one to four ratio. Our caring and fully trained teachers, offer a comfortable and loving atmosphere to our babies.
Toddler Program
The toddler program at Montessori School of Encinitas provides continuation in the care of children from infancy and brings them through their development into the preschool prep stage.
Pre-School Prep
This program is dedicated to children between the ages of 18 to 30 months or until toilet trained, whichever comes first. This is not a nursery room, but rather a place where your child will enjoy the freedom to move around and work with the direction of his directress.
Preschool Program
This is an environment prepared for children between ages 2 1/2 and Kindergarten, and entirely Montessori based. In this program, your child will have the opportunity to enjoy the freedom to move around his environment, and satisfy his inner needs for imitation, repetition, and movement through the following areas.
